Features of Nomura Horizontal Boring Mills:

•  Taking a six month and twenty-step process, nitride hardened, ground and hand-lapped spindle ensures the Nomura spindle has ideal hardness and finish. It is 300% straighter than even the Japanese Industrial Standards ( JIS ) allow.
• The Fanuc controller and oversized servo motors, ballscrews, bearings, gears, and all the internal components meet the highest levels of the JIS quality requirements.

 O-M Ltd. was founded in 1949 as a manufacturer of spinning machinery, originating as Daiwa Kikai Kogyo Co. Shimada-Kitako four spindle, vertical or horizontal lathes maximize machining flexibility by simultaneously and independently working on parts in two spindles while the other two spindles are being unloaded and reloaded. All four spindles are mounted in a large carrier drum which can be indexed in as little as two seconds, virtually eliminating part load time. All the models can be easily automated.
